WHILL Wheelchair Personal Mobility Device

So, I'm being perfectly honest with this post. I've been around home medical equipment, complex seating and wheelchair mobility equipment, and home access solutions, all for going on 23 years now.  I have had more certifications, "new product in service education sessions", and new sales pitches than I even really care to try to count. I don't get excited about many of these new gadgets anymore. But this WHILL Personal Mobility Device is EXCITING!

Let's dive in.

What is it:
First of all, the WHILL is so vastly different from a wheelchair, calling it a wheelchair shouldn't even be allowed. My target audience for this blog is people looking for wheelchair information, so I've called it a wheelchair so that Google can find it. But honestly, WHILL is a personal mobility device. I'd suggest this device for anyone that walks huge distances or needs to be mobile for long periods of time in almost any terrain or environment.  The WHILL can do things that a Segway, a wheelchair, a mobility scooter, and an ATV could do.... All in one esthetically pleasing chair.

It's Four Wheel Drive:
We'll, kinda yes. WHILL uses some really awesome front caster wheels that actually consist of 24 individual smaller wheels. These wheels turn together, in the right direction, and the same time. So, while the main motors of the chair are running the main drive wheels for power, these front small wheels are running and powering too.  This gives you ability to stay mobile in snow, sand, gravel, and make the sharpest turn of any wheelchair or scooter on the planet. That's what you get when the Japanese auto industry technology engineers build a mobility device. It is really cool.

It's moving:
Well of course its moving, it's a mobility device, but no, this is really moving. Okay, you arrive at your desk or the dinner table and your wheelchair arms hit. Sure, you can flip them up and back, while everything in your armrest storage pouch dumps in the restaurant floor and now your joystick to drive is inconveniently located somewhere behind you. Guess what WHILL does?! The seat itself slides forward to place your legs under the desk or table and to put you in a better position. You can also use it to assist with transfers.

Who's driving?
Okay, this is just awesome. Suppose you are in a place and for whatever reason you don't want the WHILL to be an indication that you're using a mobility device. Maybe you just want to look like a guy or girl sitting in a really cool futuristic looking chair while you play on your cell phone. YOU CAN!  The WHILL can be controlled and driven by a smart phone app installed on your device.

I could go on but you get the point. You need to call me and make arrangements to test drive and purchase a WHILL chair today.

More pictures and cool videos?  I've got those too.  My WHILL page is at: http://www.accessmobilityequipment.com/whill-personal-mobility-device/

How much?
Good question. We'll the most expensive WHILL would be around $12,000.  But don't worry, we have WHILL for a lot less than that. Call me to get your customized WHILL price. I absolutely promise the best price. Don't let those big fancy online websites fool you. A small business like me will give you much better support and service before, during, and after the sale.
