Revently, Access Mobility Equipment installed a pair of straight chair lifts for a customer at Smith Mountain Lake in the area of Bedford County Virginia.
Our customer has a raised home on the lake front. Most of the avtual living space is on the second floor. As such, a stair lift was needed to access downstairs and the point of entry and exit. The stairs consisted of a short flight, a flat landing, and then the longer flight of stairs leading upstairs. Since a custom curved lift is more expensive and cost wad a concern, two straight stairlifts were installed. This gives the customer a safe ride on each flight with an easy transfer on the landing between thd flights.

This customer took advantage of our "same day installation" service. We received the call on a Monday afternoon at 3pm and an installation appointment was scheduled for the next morning at 9am. This customer was happily and safely riding their new stair glides by noon on Tuesday the next day.
